Hydro Jetting for Drains and Sewer Lines
Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to clear blockages and clean the inside of pipes. Unlike snaking, which only punches a hole through a clog, hydro jetting scours the pipe walls and removes grease, scale, and roots for a thorough clean. Papalia Home Services offers hydro jetting throughout Boxborough, Acton, Westford, Concord, Sudbury, and Lexington, MA.
We’ve served the Boston Metro West area since July 1990. We use hydro jetting for main lines, sewer lines, and stubborn clogs that don’t respond to ordinary drain cleaning. We’re available seven days a week and provide free estimates.
Signs You May Need Hydro Jetting
- Recurring clogs that keep coming back after cleaning
- Slow drains throughout the house, not just one fixture
- Grease buildup in kitchen lines
- Tree root intrusion in older sewer lines
- A sewer or drain line that hasn’t been cleaned in several years
We Inspect Before We Jet
Hydro jetting isn’t the right call for every pipe. We often use a sewer camera inspection first to confirm the line is structurally sound. Jetting is ideal for recurring clogs, grease buildup, and light root growth, but for broken or collapsed pipe, we recommend repair or replacement instead.
Hydro Jetting as Part of Sewer Cleaning
Hydro jetting is one of the methods we use for full sewer cleaning. For lighter, routine buildup, standard mechanical snaking may be enough. For grease, scale, or root intrusion that snaking can’t fully clear, jetting scours the entire interior of the pipe rather than just clearing a path through the blockage.
